Absolutely shocking experience with Truespeed.
I contacted them to discuss my contract after the price doubled from £30 to £55. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, I was given poor alternatives and no real effort was made to retain a loyal customer.
I then clearly requested cancellation and was explicitly told that the service would continue for 30 days. That turned out to be completely false.
My internet was cut off early without warning, leaving me without service for an entire weekend. When I called, I waited over an hour just to be told my contract had already been closed — contradicting everything I had been told before.
Customer service repeatedly gave false promises (“it will be fixed after 12”, “someone will call you back”) — none of which happened. I had to chase them multiple times and was effectively ignored.
To make things worse, my partner tried to open a new contract at the same address, and that was also cancelled without explanation.
This company shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism. Customers are misinformed, services are cut off incorrectly, and support is unreliable at best.

Our mission is to bring ultrafast, full-fibre broadband to communities that other providers have overlooked.
We never consciously build where full-fibre is already available. This means that in many cases, the speeds we offer are vastly better than our customers are used to.
Connecting the communities we live in and love isn't just a job to us. It's personal. And it shows in our customer reviews.
We connect schools and community hubs for free for life, and we support local clubs and organisations.
Plus, what you sign up for is what you pay. We’ll never increase your monthly fee while you’re in contract.
That’s why upgrading to Truespeed makes such a difference for so many of our customers.See more
