Truworths Jabulani Mall.. Pathetic Service Unprofessional Store managerMy worst encounter with Truworths was yesterday 25/10/2024 at 18:25, when I had to collect an online order at Jabulani Mall that had been there for two weeks.The trading hours for Friday say *9Am to 7Pm* but when I arrived in store at 18:25, already the roller door was halfway closed.I greeted them by the door and asked them if the store's hours online says you are open and I am here to pick up my order, the guy rudely said we are closed.I said but online it says you are open hence I came. I decided to shift a bit. After 5 mins or so, I called the in store phone and someone picked up for the first time in weeks. I advised I am outside the shop for collection andI arrived when they were not fully closed. Person said no shop is closed and cannot help.I said I am not leaving without being open due to online business hours being open until 7PM, he then escalated the Call to their manager *Sandile* who also now rudely said we are closed.I told him to open for me because I stayed far and drove all the way because of the hours I saw online. After a squabble he then said they will open for me.When I entered the store I asked for Sandile, who was not appeasing to the eye, he was extremely annoyed with the situation and his face was obviously showing how bored to death, I asked him you are the same person I spoke towhen the door was half closed and you did not want to hear or entertain my request.It had to take me calling in the shop and fighting to get help. I asked why do you that bro and he just said "you can go and complaint about the online trading hours,went further to say even now I am not supposed to have opened for you"No customer service or even professionalism whatsoever. while they were helping with my order his face was so pissed and he said "sheshani sheshani ngifuna ukushayisa, I am happily married to the staff". What is this guy insinuating sarcastically?*Is he saying we don't have happy marriages or warm homes that we could also be rushing to rather than also being in the store for people like him to disgust us. I am so flabbergasted by this encounter. I even wonder how he leads the staff if he does this in front of customers.I am extremely disappointed with Truworths, not the first disappointment because I purchased a mens wallet in July and that was returned within a month due to poor quality. To think I love and trust Truworths so much only to be treated like a non paying customer.I want this matter attended to and this member of staff to be dealt with accordingly.
