I wanted to try out Poodle to benefit from the air miles offer, I had excellent service from Daniel until I started really looking at the details.The website for Try Poodle explicitly states that air miles are earned via Poodle Accounts Ltd (see quote below). The first transfer I was asked to make was to a company called Poodle advertising Ltd. I checked at companies house and they are different and separate companies. Whilst both exist I didn’t understand why I would pay poodle advertising Ltd.I queried this with Daniel who explained this was something to do with their set up, I advised we wouldn’t pay poodle advertising Ltd as we had no services from them, there was no contract and his own website / email / air miles offer was all connected only to Poodle Finance Ltd. Daniel told me they’d set up for us to pay the original company… he also told me he would send 2 references for existing clients.Whilst the service and attention was great trying to get me onboard I’ve now heard nothing since asking these questions which is more concerning.Quote from try poodle website:“Poodle is a trading name of Poodle Accounts Limited, a company duly registered in England and Wales under registration number 15551152. All partnerships with Air Mile providers referenced on this website are established with Poodle Accounts Limited”Before getting involved with this company I would suggest strongly these issues are discussed and resolved.
