I have not been able to access my Tumblr for a year because of problems with two-factor authentication, I contacted support several times and they simply did not even try to fix the problem.I simply have a blog with hundreds of active followers who, because of the inefficiency of the support, do not receive any more updates from me.

This entire website is an elaborate slapstick routine. First of all, the p*rnbot epidemic. If you look at the notes of ANY slightly popular post on Tumblr, there is p*rnbots all up in the notes posting infected links. Tumblr enacted an NSFW ban, I assume to combat this problem, but the p*rnbots seem to be untouched by it. I have had more p*rnbots follow me after the NSFW ban than ever before. On top of that, I've seen totally G-rated posts and users flagged as NSFW when they clearly aren't. All that said, its user base is one of its few redeeming qualities. Not necessarily because it's a good or respectable demographic of people, but rather because it never fails to deliver a unique brand of absolute ridiculousness that you just don't get on other social media platforms. It's unfortunate that Tumblr is so hellbent on alienating this user base. Then again, it's also kind of funny.

My account was terminated about three days ago and I have yet to hear a response back from the people whose job it is to fix it. I don't post nsfw content according to the guidelines, I don't spam, and I'm an actual person. I also never got any warning as to any wrong doings that would lead to me being terminated. So, short story short, the staff doesn't care about it's user base (unless you're an alt-right fanboy) and you should stay far away from this site if you can.
