TurboTax is misleading when it comes to pricing. I started thinking I’d pay around $50–$60, and by the end, I was charged nearly $280. They add upgrades, state fees, and extras that are not clearly explained until checkout.
On top of that, I still had to do most of the work myself. For the price, it’s not worth it at all. You’re better off going to a tax professional—cheaper, easier, and way less confusing. I would not recommend TurboTax.
