On 12.02.26 I was experiencing a living nightmare! Especially after distasteful communication with my local council (Lambeth), I felt once again Soul crushed and on the brink of a complete mental breakdown. Even more so because this issue is reoccurring! I had no faith or hope that any further communication or interaction from my council (Lambeth) or appointed repairs team (TWD) would be conducive to my situation. Then Sam, a compotent, empathetic, personable, understanding, highly skilled and even more highly equipped TWD employee came to my rescue ! I was blown away by his initial response to me and the situation. Sam who is the professional (who I'm sure has seen many cases in my likeness) didnt act with arrogance. Instead he listened to me explaining the problem and how distressed it made me feel. Sam was able to explain and enlighten me as to why this issue keeps on reoccurring and how it could be resolved (although that isn't based off of any action i can carry out). Despite the fact that my property was flooded with sewage and stack pipe water, Sam still treated my home with respect and was mindful about how he moved, removed and interacted with the bombshell my home became. To add cherry to my pie, Sam directly entered the stacks with a unique piece of equipment that should hopefully keep the backsurging issue at bay. After all was said and done, for the first time since I had been at the property, I witnessed hot water at its highest force go straight down my kitchen sink without rising in it. How sad that in this 1st world country that felt like magic ! I am very grateful, that even in such distress, a silver lining came and that came as Sam!THANKYOU !!!
