I feel compelled to share my experience as the company requested feedback after supposedly resolving my issue, which unfortunately remains unresolved. I bought multiple starter and extension kits to create a continuous LED installation around my son's ceiling. From the very beginning, the products have not functioned reliably. Connections frequently dropped, devices vanished from the app, and one unit eventually failed physically (no LEDs, power only when the connector was manipulated). Over several weeks, I meticulously followed all troubleshooting steps suggested by the support team: Dedicated 2.4 GHz networks (including a separate mesh network)
Direct Wi-Fi connections
Firmware and app updates
Multiple full reset attempts
Screenshots, receipts, device logs, and thorough documentation Notably, other products from the same brand (String and Curtain) worked flawlessly on the same networks, ruling out any network or app issues. The technical team ultimately acknowledged this was a hardware defect with the products. However, the resolution offered was insufficient: Initially, I was given only a 25% discount to repurchase the defective items. After escalating the issue, I received just one starter kit, disregarding that nine units were confirmed defective and needed to work together for the installation to be effective. One replacement unit does not solve the problem when the other eight are still malfunctioning. At this point, I've wasted a lot of time, spent hundreds of dollars, and the product is still unusable. While individual support agents were courteous, the overall management of the situation reflects a lack of accountability and a reluctance to fully address a confirmed hardware defect. Given this experience, I cannot recommend these products, and I will steer clear of them in the future.
