❌ Disappointed and frankly insulted – Topology SkincareI’ve been a customer of Topology Skincare before, so this experience really caught me off guard.On July 8th, I placed a fairly large order (€650–700 worth of products), which I planned to take with me outside the EU, since the brand doesn’t ship directly to my country. For almost two weeks, I heard nothing. Then on July 14th, I received a generic email saying there might be a delay — which was fine. I understand logistics can get tricky.But when I checked the order status myself a week later and reached out to customer support, I was shocked to be told that my order wasn’t going to be shipped because they suspected I was a reseller.No one contacted me. No one asked me anything. They just made that judgment internally and stayed quiet. And apparently, had I not followed up, I wouldn’t have known anything at all.Frankly, I found that insulting. I’ve ordered from them before — including large quantities — and never had an issue. Accusing a loyal customer of reselling without any proof, and without even bothering to communicate, is not just bad customer service, it’s unacceptable.To be honest, it felt more like they were having stock or fulfilment issues and needed an excuse. And the “reseller” label was a convenient way out.They did issue the refund promptly once I asked, but that’s not the point. The lack of transparency, the silence, and the baseless accusation left a really bad impression. I expected much better from a brand that positions itself as high-end.
