Ordered a tyre over Christmas for fitting a few days later and paid a "premium installation fee" for fitting on a Friday, had a call from Halfords on the morning it was meant to be fitted to say tyre hadn't arrived and wouldn't be there for 4 more days.I called the 0800 number to see what alternative options we had and request a refund of the extra premium fee and after being in a queue got a message saying "the mobile you have called is switched off". Then emailed them requesting they call me and now Sunday and still haven't been called or received any acknowledgement.The front page of their website in one part says "No matter the time, we always have somebody on hand to help you with any queries. Our dedicated UK-based call centre is open 24 hours a day, Monday to Saturday, throughout the entire year." in another part it says "Open 8am-6pm Mon-Fri & 8am-4:30pm Sat" but the reality is there clearly isn't any customer service (or tyre delivery) at all at the moment.
