I had a puncture recently, and luckily, the car was at home, so I booked a mobile tyre fitter through Tyre-Shopper. I’ve used their service before to replace all my tyres and was happy with the experience back then.However, this time I had a specific request: the puncture was on the front driver’s side, and I had recently replaced a tyre on the rear driver’s side. For better balancing, I needed the new tyre moved to the rear passenger side.After booking, I called several times to confirm if this could be done, but I kept being transferred back and forth between Tyre-Shopper and the tyre-fitting company (National Tyres Borehamwood, who never answered their phone). I even emailed Tyre-Shopper and included the request in the booking form.When the mobile fitter arrived, they rudely (rather than politely) refused to move the tyre, simply stating that it wasn’t a service they offer for mobile fitting. This was very frustrating, as I could’ve made other arrangements had I known earlier.Now, I’m left with two newer tyres on one side of the car and two older ones on the other. I expected better communication and service. Very disappointed with this experience.
