The price offered by tyre shopper is good. But the service from the fitters, National Tyres (now Halfords group) changed since I last went . I wanted them to fit the 2 new tyres to 2 spare wheels and then fit those to the front. Then put those 2 old tyre/wheels in the boot. “No sorry sir. We can’t do that. We have to charge extra for anything different to your order”. It turns out that the “bosses” had visited earlier and clamped down on any little favours or change from the norm. Even tips or gifts had to be reported. The manager quietly told me that the staff were very unsettled and 2 were looking for new jobs. He apologised. So. Sorry Tyre Shopper. I will be going to my local independent fitter from now. Sounds like the old “jobs worth” situation all over. Shame.
