Ordered 4 new Bridgestone Turanza 6 tyres on Monday (their promoted premium tyre) and booked a mobile fitting slot for Thursday. The morning of the fitting, which I had arranged to be at home for, I was emailed at 10am to say 'the suppliers did not have the tyres in stock' but told I was automatically being booked to offer an unwanted worse tyre (Pirelli Powergy) to be fitted the next day at the same price. The only way to change this was for me to phone a central number and be put in a queue. It took 20 minutes to then phone and cancel my order. It will take 5 working days to get my money back.I have used this company in the past, but from other recent reviews my experience is far from unique and I will not be using them again:They didn't know or communicate that the tyre ordered was apparently not available until mid way through the morning of the day of fitting (but did seem to know that the alternative tyre would be available for next day fitting).When they did finally know they had a problem, they didn't call to discuss an alternative tyre/date - they just auto booked me for a worse tyre at the same price on a date and time that wasn't convenient.The ONLY way to discuss or cancel was through a central line which by their own admission was 'busy' listening to a ridiculous jingle for 20 minutes.
