I purchased a TV from Sharaf DG just two days ago. Once it was delivered to our home, we immediately realised it was far too big for the room. When the installation team arrived, we informed them that we would prefer to return the TV. They reassured us that since we still had the box, we could return it within 7 days—even if they proceeded with the installation. Trusting their word, we allowed the installation.The very next day, I called the call centre to initiate the return. The first representative I spoke to (name withheld for now) confirmed that a return was possible but would involve a 15% restocking fee. While I wasn’t thrilled about the fee, I was relieved that a return was still an option.However, when I called again the next day to confirm and proceed with the return, another representative (again, name withheld) told me that a return was not possible at all because the product had been installed.This is completely unacceptable and misleading. I feel cheated by the lack of clarity and the conflicting information provided by their own staff. A simple return request within 7 days—when the product is in perfect condition and the original box is preserved—should not be this complicated.This experience has been a complete waste of time and money, and I expected much better from a brand like Sharaf DG.
