I scheduled a ride for my family to go to the airport (6 people plus luggage). I ordered the premium SUV. When the driver was assigned is saw it was an Acura RDX. Seat-wise it’s fine, but there’s no way you’re fitting four suitcases in the back using that third row of seats. It was IMPOSSIBLE to contact anybody at all. The number I finally found was for drivers. Then within the app I finally found a place to log my issue, but it makes me select a previous ride to tag it to. Since this ride had not yet taken place I could not log the issue.
I cancelled and scheduled in Lyft. To get ahead of the issue I immediately started chatting WITH AN AGENT directly from their app. They were very helpful, but the best part is it wasn’t needed because while I was talking to the agent, the driver was assigned and it was a YukonXL.
Also, one month ago I scheduled an UberXL during a work conference. What arrived was a Nissan Sentra…for five adults.
Moral of the story, Lyft is so much better than Uber in every way possible.
