Very poor service. Of all the food delivery platforms, they seem to consistently be the most expensive yet fail to deliver even basic customer service. I stopped using them a while back, and was only enticed back by the offer of a free uber one membership, which isn’t good enough to make up for the rubbish service. Since using the app again, I’ve had a few orders where food has been stale and cold but on this particular occasion it was over an hour late, stuck to a soggy box. It was very messy trying to get into contact with customer services. Eventually I get a reply, where I am told that I will receive a partial refund without disclosing the amount- presumably because they only offered a quarter of the payment back, which is pathetic for two stale, cold meals. I’ve never before experienced companies resolve issues whereby the customer isn’t even consulted about the possible solution/s. Despite the uber one membership, I most definitely won’t be using them again. Deliveroo seems to be much more customer focused, so I will continue using their platform instead, and they always seem to be cheaper too.
