Made a Tims order and first time using the app. Wrong address and i cant change it anymore while the order is in progress. Theres a convo going and i sent a message that the location is wrong and sent a new message for the right location. Still the customer service cant do anything about it. So, i cancelled the order and was charged. My point of view is theres a convo going for changed of location and still didnt work out but still charged. Not even a refund or reorder can be made because of wrong location nothing its just frustrating that even first timers mistake the company wont do anything. I deleted the app and never again.

Topped up my account using giftcards. Total value was £46.65. Made an order of less than £15, they took the whole of my £30 credit. Contacted customer support and was given a complete barrage of copy and pasted scripted responses until they just stopped responding. Topped up another £16.65 for an order, that had suddenly shot up past £16.65, was given a refund on that order. Asked again about my missing credit and was told that the refund was for the missing credit. Tried arguing it with them, yet more copy and pasted scripted responses. They still
owe me £19.23. I only used them, first time in 5 years, as I was given giftcards for my birthday. Will be deleting my account and the app now. Such crooks, another company that has grown so big they don’t care about their users.

I notified the same day that 3 items were missing got a refund for 2 Asked to correct as told we already issued a refund Asked the next day again was told sorry 48 hours has passed. Dented the app. Will never use it again stay away from them. Door dash a grub hub are much better. Just a horrible experience e all around.

Don’t use this app to order food! I decided to try it for the first time and my order was incomplete. When trying to get a solution I was left with having to wait between 6-12 hours for them to reach out. The outcome of my query was disappointing. I never received the french fries with my order and uber eats didn’t refund the cost of the fries. It’s impossible to get someone to talk to and decided to cancel my membership and I’ll try to close my account. Never using them again or buying from that restaurant I ordered from.

Any time there has been an issue with an order—missing items, incorrect food, delivery problems—the support system is incredibly frustrating and completely unhelpful. You’re usually stuck dealing with automated responses that don’t actually address the situation, and it feels like there’s no real person willing to step in and resolve the problem.

What makes it worse is their refund policy. It’s extremely rigid and often unreasonable, even when the issue with the order is clearly not the customer’s fault. Instead of looking at situations case-by-case, they seem to default to denying refunds or offering no meaningful solution.

When customers are paying for a service and something goes wrong, the bare minimum expectation is fair support and accountability. Unfortunately, that’s not what you get with Uber Eats.

At this point, it genuinely feels like once they have your money, they simply don’t care about resolving problems. It’s disappointing and incredibly frustrating as a customer.

There are plenty of food delivery services out there, and experiences like this make it hard to justify continuing to use Uber Eats.

Uber driver dropped the wrong order - we noticed in time to give it back to the driver - he said it was the restaurant's fault - We called the driver through the app - he was no help - so we called the restaurant they said it was Uber's responsibility - of course we didn't take a photo - we gave it right back to the driver - and no there is NO recourse - because Uber has no customer service any more - Door Dash here we come
