Utterly Unacceptable Service – Full Refund and Compensation RequiredToday’s experience with Uber Eats and Ecco Pizza has been, without exaggeration, the most disappointing and unprofessional service I have ever received.I placed a scheduled order at 10:00 AM for delivery between 12:15–12:45 PM — scheduled being the entire point, as I had organised lunch for my team during a meeting. What arrived was an embarrassment.The first driver eventually turned up at 12:55 PM with three pizzas that were stone cold, the boxes collapsed, soggy, and completely unpresentable. He assured me that replacements were on the way, yet the app showed a new estimated arrival time of almost another full hour. At that point, the purpose of scheduling was entirely defeated.Trying to resolve this only made the situation worse. When I called the restaurant — who answered the phone as “Ecco Pizza” — the moment I mentioned there was an issue with my order, they suddenly pretended I had reached the wrong number. The level of unprofessionalism was astonishing.What followed was an endless loop of customer service interactions that left me even more frustrated. I spoke with three separate representatives, none of whom provided any meaningful help. The final one placed me on hold only to inform me that someone else would handle the case in 16–24 hours — after offering a mere £25 out of a £110 order, despite the two hours I had already wasted between phone calls and group chats. This is not what I expect from a service I pay a premium for.The entire ordeal — late delivery, cold food, misleading information, refusal of responsibility, and ineffective support — was not only inconvenient, it was deeply embarrassing given that I had relied on your service for a professional meeting. The experience was unacceptable from beginning to end, and I am left completely dissatisfied and frankly disgusted by how this was handled.I am requesting a full refund and appropriate compensation for the time wasted and the complete failure of service today. I hope that someone from Uber East sees this and starts taking action regarding their poor services.
