Another unacceptable experience. Order #DD630 was cancelled within a few minutes on Jan 11, 2026 (4:26 PM) in Sunnyvale, CA, yet the driver still retained the items. The BevMo manager confirmed the order was cancelled and said they were waiting for the driver to return the merchandise. I later learned the driver never returned the items. This is a faulty practice where the customer gets penalized for internal failures.
Despite the cancellation, I was charged $134.45, which is about $17 more than the original order amount. This isn’t just frustrating — it’s a serious accountability breakdown between the platform, the driver, and the store.
After repeated incidents, I’m done using this service. I’ve switched to DoorDash and have had a much better experience.
I have disputed the charge and am hoping to receive a full refund.
