Two days ago, I used Uber Eats for the first time and followed the app’s instructions exactly. At the very beginning, I was offered a deal, which I confirmed by pressing the “Claim” button, and the discount was displayed throughout the ordering process.
However, at the payment step, a message suddenly appeared saying that the promo could not be applied. When I later contacted customer support, I received a very strange email stating that I had violated the promo usage policy, even though I did nothing except follow the instructions in the Uber app interface.
This looks completely unprofessional. I recommend using other food delivery apps instead.
