The ScrumMaster® program provided by the organization was well-organized, practical, and focused on the core principles of Scrum and their real-world applications. The facilitator led the sessions in an engaging manner that promoted discussion and a deeper understanding beyond merely preparing for the exam. Overall, it was an excellent experience that reinforced the Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
Danko Kovatch is an awesome instructor, very knowledgeable, and made the learning experience enjoyable. The breakout sessions were also very helpful and a great way to collaborate, reinforcing the knowledge transfer. The course was insightful and I definitely needed the current information shared to bring me up to speed on new changes in the framework.
Bonsy was very straightforward and clear on instructing and demonstrating everything I needed to know and understand about being a CSM. All I needed to do is listen and any question I would think that I would have to ask would be answered without having to ask.
I recently completed the CSPO course, and while it had some positive aspects, overall it didn’t meet my expectations.On the positive side, the class was interactive, and the instructor clearly tried to make the material engaging. However, the course lacked structured content and supporting materials. I learn best when there are visuals or documents to review, and this course didn’t provide much in that regard.The instructor often went off topic for long stretches, usually while trying to make a point or add humor, which made it difficult to stay focused. The content itself was also very basic — mostly a high-level overview of Scrum — and didn’t provide much depth or practical insight into the Product Owner role beyond what’s already outlined in the Scrum Guide.Frankly, I came away feeling that I could have learned the same information on my own in a few hours online. I used to view CSM and CSPO certifications as strong credentials on a résumé, but after taking this class, I won’t put much weight on them when evaluating candidates in the future.Lastly, I was disappointed that each day ended several hours early. If that time had been used to expand the curriculum, add exercises, or deepen discussions, it could have been a much more valuable experience.Overall, I appreciate the effort to make the class engaging, but I would recommend the course organizers build a more structured, content-rich program to deliver greater value for the cost.
