I had one son who started the 2nd semester of 9th grade, who’s now attending college, and I have another son who’s currently in 12th grade. I only have good things to say about the school. When my older son was bullied at other school and desperate to look for another school, Fusion Academy made the transition so smooth and the support we have received has been nothing but a positive experience. The staff are so understanding and work with you to provide any support your family need. Additionally, the teachers have been very supportive and work you to make any necessary accommodations for a successful school experience. I highly recommend Fusion Academy!
My son was in a difficult place at his junior year of high school in Seattle. The school cared, but they just did not have the resources to give him the time and attention he needed to find himself and succeed. After careful thought, we researched and found Fusion Academy in Seattle and after meeting with the head of school, James Cardo, we were impressed enough to give them and their unique approach a try. Everything about the experience was amazing. The teachers helped him to gain confidence and realize his true potential. Three years later, he is doing wonderfully and succeeding in college and in life and Fusion was critical to his turnaround. Its student to teacher approach is expensive, but the value of what it brought to him is priceless. The best decision we could have made.
I met with Jonathan Kiesler, and I have to say he is one of the most enthusiastic, energized, and genuine principals I’ve ever met. I truly love the structure of the school, and I believe it will be a great fit for my daughter, who hasn’t felt like she fits in at a traditional school in terms of academic structure. I’m very encouraged and excited about the possibilities ahead.
I was totally dreading Back to School Night. In the past 10 years, every meeting that we’ve had with teachers/schools has been about how problematic our son is – I was not looking forward to another session like that. After meeting his 6 teachers tonight – I am positively overwhelmed. Every single one of them had great comments about him. I started writing them down – a great critical thinker, a great writer, asks great questions, respectful, and on and on. We were sooooo proud to hear all that. We had great conversations with them and every single teacher wanted more information from us to help our son do even better – they all have his best interest at heart. I was so excited that we went straight home and I read our son all of the teachers' comments. I don’t think he’s really EVER gotten positive feedback about school from anyone. We told him how proud we are of him and I could tell he was proud too. He kept my notes from the meeting to read over again. We really have found the right place for our son. Fusion really understands him and wants the best for him. I can’t tell you how grateful we are to have found this school. The director Sara Yakhi is an angel!
Fusion Academy has been a wonderful fit for our 14 YO son. He has attended for 2 years and for the first time, he's excelling in school, is happy and confident. The model at Fusion is unique, and not for all students, but if your child needs a smaller, calmer environment, with tailored education that meets the student's individual needs, pace and unique style, Fusion is a great option. The team at Fusion personally knows every student and supports them as a whole person. They are extremely responsive, creative and kind. They see our unique kids for the wonderful humans they are and bring out their potential. Highly recommend Fusion if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional school environment!
Our son has made so much growth both academically and with his social development since transferring to Fusion Academy from the public education system. The Principal Nadine is kind and understands the unique needs of all the children that go there. My son loves the whole staff there. Plus, his confidence is so much higher now.
Our children are thriving in Fusion. This is our second year as full-time students. We are so happy with the one on one model and the educators really do an amazing job meeting our children where they are and encouraging personal and academic growth.
To be honest I don’t really do reviews in general. However I am making an exception for this place. Fusion has been a humongous blessing for our entire family. It started with our second child, adhd so bad that he couldn’t even remember what happened in his class that day. Distraction is the enemy. My kiddo started in 10 grade at fusion, with a barely passing grade for ninth grade. He not only graduated from Fusion Academy with stellar grades. He also graduated a year early. If that doesn’t tell you how well the school does for someone with ADHD. I don’t know what else I can say. It worked out so well we decided to put our youngest, who is a high functioning autistic as I like to put it hightistic . He has no filter when he speaks. He’s very blunt and honest about answering you. He does not work well with others of the same age or younger. He has issues with people he doesn’t believe they know what they’re doing. He can’t be around those people without getting upset. I put him in over the summer for just fun classes or two classes so he could acclimate. He enjoyed himself completely, and he was extremely excited when his classes this semester started, he is also starting in the 10th grade, but he is not going to force himself to graduate early. He says there’s no point. I think it’s more that he likes the school so he’s gonna prolong it. I can honestly tell you every single one of the staff I have met at Fusion Academy. Sugarland is completely there for the children. It’s not a question of if I can find another job. I’m out of here it’s I’m here because I like being here with these Kids they care. Cara and Paul are the two heads and from there, the body just keeps filling in. I wouldn’t know what to do without the school when it comes to my kids and their mental health capabilities so thank you, Fusion.
My son started at Fusion Buckhead for his 8th grade year. It's been life-changing! His confidence is through the roof, he's engaged in his learning, the curriculum is customized to his interests, and he's carrying straight A's. We came from a public middle school where he got lost and we feel like he has adults who believe in him at Fusion. Highly Recommend!
