I’ve been a loyal Udemy user for years and have purchased numerous courses—spending a significant amount of money over time. I relied on those courses not just for learning, but as reference points for ongoing work and skill development.Recently, I got locked out of my account due to a broken or missing email verification link. I spent several hours trying to resolve it—resetting my password, checking spam folders, switching devices—but nothing worked.The support portal was no help. It kept looping me through automated bot responses that didn’t address the issue or offer a way to reach a real person. I wasted hours trying to get past the bot, with no resolution.Now I can’t even access the site, and I was actively using those courses. I likely would’ve purchased more, but this experience has made me question the reliability of the platform.As a paying user, I expected better. Udemy needs to improve its support system and make it easier for users to get real help when things go wrong.
