I ordered 9 shirts ($311) Paid extra for express delivery within 7 days. I asked on day 5 (Friday) if they'd be there next day (Saturday) as I assumed they wouldn't be delivered on day 7 because it was a Sunday. I also needed these shirts for the Saturday for my best friend's surprise birthday dinner. Their response was 'Your order will be in production next week'. Very outside the 7 day window. Obviously I was beyond annoyed so I asked VERY POLITELY how I can start the process for a refund as they aren't going to arrive in time, they are no use to me after the birthday dinner AND they hadn't gone to production yet. No response.So I asked again on the Monday (day 8), to which they said on Tuesday evening (day 9) 'Your order is in the final stages of production, you have 2 options - get your order as normal or get a total refund of $19?!'Not $19 per shirt, $19 total? Which is what I paid for the 'express shipping '. I advised that this was unreasonable as I asked for a refund before they had even begun production (their words btw) and I wouldn't accept anything less than a full reimbursement. Crickets. I have messaged multiple times since. Nothing. I am a hard working, kind and reasonable person. I NEED this money for Christmas and bills. I cannot believe a business could rip someone off like this. I was drawn to the 40% discount on the first order. Should've been obvious then.STAY. AWAY. I will be going to the ombudsman. If that doesn't work, I will be going to A Current Affair. There is NO way I am letting these people take my money.
