Getting insurance from them was the worse experience I’ve ever had
I don’t usually make reviews but just had to, so others don’t go through the same. It starts with a quote, then they tell you that they will call you and if they don’t, you must make the call. I called a few hours after paying the deposit and tried to be as honest as possible, even gave them my Ni no. They found every reason to increase the premium, including an insurance which I cancelled in 2016 (we’re in 2026). When I said I’d shop around for another. They said I’d never get cheaper quote. When I mentioned the name of the company offering it cheaper they said, that company is round the corner and I’d never get it cheaper. In the end, I got insurance almost £900.00 cheaper. What does U drive do, they charged me 65% of the deposit for cancellation. I had the insurance for only a few hours before I called them and the policy was on hold.
