I disengaged from the university due to a bereavement (my father died). I tried to re-engage but was met with bureaucratic doom loops. One year in they are saying I need to pay twice for my outstanding module, have even instructed lawyers to pursue payment, and are offering a capped grade. I am constantly refereed back and forth to different departments and appeals processes. They clearly do not review evidence. I am having to relive elements of a traumatic period in my life constantly by re-providing evidence of my father's death, GP notes about my mental health during that period. Zero compassion or respect for their students. Money grabbing evil institution - AVOID. You will not be treated fairly if you encounter an unfortunate life event during your studies.
