I’ve tried to report multiple times that one of my roommates friends keeps sexually harassing me and making me uncomfortable everytime I try make a meal in the kitchen , following me staring at my butt flirting with me etc and everytime a security guard has come up said hi to him and left basically.
UEL really stretched me, especially studying architecture. The long studio nights, tough crits, and tight deadlines pushed me creatively and technically, and that’s where I saw the most growth. London can be financially demanding, but I was able to find opportunities within the university that helped me gain experience alongside my studies. I’ve also stepped into leadership and ambassador roles, which built my confidence beyond the studio. Overall, it’s been challenging but genuinely transformative (academically, professionally, and personally).
The one thing which makes my experience great in Uel is immense support from different sectors, be it career zone, Student hub and union as well. I've been always guided very well and quick, without any complains I can say it one of the highlights on this university.

I disengaged from the university due to a bereavement (my father died). I tried to re-engage but was met with bureaucratic doom loops. One year in they are saying I need to pay twice for my outstanding module, have even instructed lawyers to pursue payment, and are offering a capped grade. I am constantly refereed back and forth to different departments and appeals processes. They clearly do not review evidence. I am having to relive elements of a traumatic period in my life constantly by re-providing evidence of my father's death, GP notes about my mental health during that period. Zero compassion or respect for their students. Money grabbing evil institution - AVOID. You will not be treated fairly if you encounter an unfortunate life event during your studies.
It is the beginning only, and l’ve had truly positive experience from the MAPP teaching team. I could feel the teaching team/lecturers are professional, supportive, and have a great sense of humor. I also like how their respective modules are very organized and with great instruction to follow along. Will come back here to see if my first impressions stay unchanged.
