I had a problem with a kettle which was 19 months old so contacted Russell Hobbs with photos of the problem. Their response was immediate and sent a replacement kettle. When the same problem occurred with the replacement they had both kettles back for their technicians to examine. It turned out the fault lay with a power socket and not the kettles but as a gesture of goodwill they sent another kettle. I cannot fault their Customer Service
