Frustrating appointment experience

I scheduled a brain scan and paid at the time of booking. Shortly after, I was told of an additional charge for contrast imaging, which I promptly paid. My appointment was then canceled for scheduling reasons. After rebooking, I traveled an hour only to discover they do not perform MRIs with contrast. I couldn't reach anyone for clarification and left without the imaging, feeling frustrated about the money and time spent.
