We submitted our MRI imaging from last year to assess any changes. We opted to pay extra for a phone discussion regarding the MRI results. We clearly stated that the patient has autism and that the conversation should include the patient's carer. However, they chose to speak directly with the patient, which invalidated the call. Now, they are unwilling to honor our request for a direct conversation with the carer, despite having paid for this service. Their report indicated "no significant changes in the last MRI," which suggests there were changes. When we inquired about these insignificant changes, they demanded additional payment for clarification. Our primary goal in obtaining this MRI was to understand any changes from the previous one. They should have informed us that this information would not be provided before we proceeded with the MRI; otherwise, we wouldn't have opted for it, especially not paid extra for a brief virtual consultation with a patient who is not only in pain but also unable to comprehend the situation.
