On 4 September 2025 my autistic daughter and I arrived at Wembley for the Coldplay concert only to discover we’d been scammed by Viagogo. My ticket worked but hers had already been used. There was no way I would leave her, so we both stayed outside and tried to fix it.Wembley staff were kind and explained that Viagogo is a third-party reseller. They gave us a letter and a number for Viagogo, but after over 30 minutes on the phone, accepting far-inferior replacement seats that never arrived, we were left with nothing but a refund option and a very distressed child. Then something remarkable happened. A lady at the **AXS ticket stand — Mel — quietly came back minutes before the show began and said, “have a good night,” handing us two premium tickets without even asking for payment. Thanks to Mel’s compassion and quick action, we entered the stadium just as Coldplay came on stage. My daughter, who had been in tears from the ordeal, was crying again—this time in shock at such kindness.I’ve contacted Wembley and AXS multiple times since and learned only that Mel is a casual member of AXS staff, but I cannot thank her enough. Her empathy turned what could have been one of our lowest nights into a lifelong memory of hope and humanity.AXS, please recognize Mel at the highest level. People like her are rare and deserve every bit of appreciation.
