We scheduled labour and accommodation based on a written delivery confirmation from this supplier specifying 23/02/2026, along with instructions that assistance would be required on site to unload.On the day of delivery, we were informed that the date had been entered incorrectly due to an internal input error, meaning no delivery had ever been scheduled for that day.This left a full installation team on site with no materials and resulted in over £1,000 in wasted labour and accommodation costs.The internal error was acknowledged, however the only resolution offered was a small credit against a future order which did not reflect the financial impact.Contractors relying on confirmed delivery dates and unloading instructions should plan accordingly.
