I am in the middle of the online diploma course and I think it is exceptional. The material is intensive and extensive leaving no stone unturned. The design of the course is incredibly supportive with coaching calls and practise sessions making the online learning experience inclusive and enjoyable. There are tutors and sessions available to help navigate setting up your business and ongoing support available once qualified. I can't recommend the school highly enough!
I came across the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy in the BPS magazine when I was looking for further professional development to update my skills as a psychologist. Having completed previous training in CBT and hypnosis the idea of combining these disciplines appealed to me so I signed up for the course. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Mark Davis is a highly skilled therapist and teacher. He motivates and inspires. He encourages all of us to give of our skills to help others. This is a profoundly helpful message to those of us hindered by self doubt. Mark is supported by a skilled and tremendously supportive team. The college provides ongoing professional support, workshops, training and mentoring that is unique to this organisation. This course was life-changing - on many levels. I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and dedication of all the instructors: the love and passion for what they taught and practiced was incredibly compelling. Equally impressive was the breadth of their knowledge across many fields. I ended up using my training differently from other students in my course, but with a similar ambition to help others navigate through difficult stages in life by sharing some of the “tools” I’ve learned here.
CBH course is rigorous and independently accredited and encourages a critical and creative approach to tailoring therapy to each client and their goals. Outstanding. There will be a considerable amount of techniques and skills you can bring into your practice. Everyone, from Mark to the admin staff and my coach, Andrea, has been amazing! I felt supported and had a desire to teach knowledgeable professions during the whole training period. Thank you so much to a brilliant team for your ongoing support. I would definitely recommend the online course.

The college is great for distance learners like me to feel involved and motivated to complete the course. The online environment is good and the setup and support is so much better than I experience in the distance learning MSc I’m doing at the same time. The course content is good, evidence-based (important for me and lacking in many hypnotherapy trainings) and engaging and the practice sessions and coaching help embed the learning. The coaching sessions are great and ensure a quality of learning as students progress through the course. Highly recommend.
Having just completed the online level 5 Diploma with the college I am very impressed with the standard and quality of the course. It may be on line learning but the virtual practice sessions along with 1-1 with my coach have given it a really personal touch and reduced the feeling of studying in isolation, providing the opportunity to share experiences and ideas. It is well worth the investment in yourself and on going learning. I have also gone on to book with the business coach who you are provided with free access to during your studies in order to assure my business can be successful as I start out on my own. Highly recommend.

I'm very grateful for this course. Excellent training and so many tools provided for working with clients. I completed the Level 5 Higher Diploma and enjoyed every minute of it. I've now opened my own practice and as I continue to develop my career in Psychology this course gave me an excellent foundation that I will build on for years to come.
