Class was top shelf. Mark was very professional as well as kind and met students where they were in their learning curve. Making the decision to learn how to trade was easy. Deciding how to make it happen was more difficult. I was leery of all the online opportunities that began filling my social media feed once I began looking for a good option. You just never know what you will get from unsolicited ads all promising the same thing. I attended a local 3-day seminar for a more direct hands-on experience. The three-day event was offered through Trade Surge. I felt like the time and money spent on the event was worth it, but I know that I could not learn how to trade in three days. Another takeaway from the Trade Surge event was that it seemed to me that their main trading strategy was to mimic what institutional traders were doing. Trade Surge does offer the continued educational mentorship I was interested in. I knew going in that the purpose of offering the three-day event was to market a more hands-on mentorship program. I understand that learning a new skill would take an investment on my end if I was serious about it. Once I learned what my mentorship options would be through Trade Surge, I wanted to think it over. It was a big financial commitment. Additionally, it was a time-limited commitment meaning the mentorship programs were in one-, two-, or four-year intervals where each option increased in cost. Before making a final decision, I wanted to keep looking around. This is when I found Grok Trade. The reason I decided to go with Grok Trade was threefold. One, I wanted to learn the skill of trading not learn how to copy institutional traders. Two, Grok Trade provided unlimited mentoring access, so I did not need to worry about not understanding something within the timeframe of one, two, or four years. Three, the cost was about half as much. Additionally, when I spoke with the Grok Team, my questions were answered in a professional manner, multiple payment options were provided, and I was even given access to a previous instructional session so I could get a feel for the type of learning environment I could expect. Went through the 301 again. Of course it was free :-)The second time around was like getting a reflection of my actions over the last 2 months and this time it hit on a whole different level. Mark knows exactly what you need to hear and will reinforce it. His sheer decades of experience is constantly apparent. It was like he was reading my mind and telling me what I needed. Easily the best course I've ever taken (taken 6 on different topics). Mark and Des have been the most genuine and intellectual. Certainly not your average online guru's here. These guys are the real deal!
Before coming to Grok Trade I was breaking even on my trading. After attending my second 401 Master-class I am at a $34K/month rate and noticeably improving my trading. These mentors are Market Wizards. What I really like is the ability to retake the classes because I found that I catch new insights each time I retake the classes.
I took the 301 the previous weekend and then jumped into the 401s. The 401 was truly next level! It is hard to jump into the 401 without taking the 301, especially for a novice trader like me. Des taught the 401 and went over some really advanced trading techniques. I absolutely loved the algorithms. Des ran through some Grok proprietary algorithms but also other ones available on trading view. The Grok algorithms far outpaces everything out there in terms of performance. If you want to be a super advanced trader with supreme success in the markets, you need to take the 401 advanced course! Des is a awesome teacher!! 2 other friends of mine took this course with me and their heads were equally blown!
Great Learning at Grok Trade from Master Traders - Des and Mark!I wish I could give more than 5 stars but that’s the maximum here. I happened to attend Grok Grad’s 101 and 201 classes followed by their 3 day immersive 301 classes on trading. They were well put together, in depth and quality content. After taking these classes, my understanding has exponentially increased. The fun fact is that the class I attended had novice and veteran traders together. Still, all were able to glean a lot of learning from that class and had AH-HA moments. They touch upon key topics that 90% of the traders miss out. This is an edge you get when you learn from Grok trade. If there are universities for teaching trading, I would say that Grok Trade is the MIT university for offering trading education. On top of all these they make sure you become successful through lifetime mentoring for no additional fee. These classes are best for day traders, swing traders, or position traders. Mark the “meerkat” is excellent. He is called “meerkat” for a reason. You’ll find out when you attend his classes. He is on a mission with a passion to help novice and veteran traders. He was very patient with us while teaching and made sure that every student understands the concepts he taught. During the weekend of Feb 15,I re took the 3 day level 301 GROK stock training course with Mark. Due to illness. Had not traded for almost 5 years and had forgotten how to properly trade. The refresher course was what I needed! First time I took course many years ago, I took copious pages of notes as there few handouts. This time there were detailed print outs each morning and afternoon. Notes could be written on relevant pages. Much easier to listen and learn. Mark is an excellent instructor. Explains in detail and takes time to respond to questions. You can tell he is committed to helping everyone be better traders . Time was spent on the components of technical analysis. We looked at charts, using several criteria to determine suitiability for buying, when to buy,how many to buy and setting a stop loss. A key message “never buy a chart pattern, buy the breakout. Mark requests attendees to develop a trading plan, send it in for review, and it will be returned with suggestions for improvement. There is also a detailed trading log that is to be sent in after 25 trades. Mark will review these and identify which were bought and sold according to the charts. The following week-end I took 401 with Des. Des who took Marks work one step further. The most valuable to me was Des describing his rationale for trades - from beginning to end – from whether to buy, or when to buy , at what price, setting original stop loss, and moving when required. By following rules, makes it easier to trade “properly.Some time was spent introducing ’Algorhythms. As that section was new to me, it was harder to absorb.I know I did not absorb everything in these two courses, so shall be retaking when offered again. The generosity of Des – retakes are free.
