Again got a ticket at Livingston as I entered and exited through the west entrance as it’s the side closest from my house, but parked in the south car park as there is no barriers to say that they are two separate car parks so I drove through thinking’s it’s one big car park. Paid using the Flowbird app as I have done 100 times before, got a ticket as I didn’t pay on the west side. Again no idea it’s two car parks as you can freely move between them. Appealed to the company, showing I paid and it’s a misunderstanding and had no response until I got issued with a debt collection agency letter for £170! Contacted the company again and they said nothing they can do so take up with Debt Recovery Plus! I paid as it was stressing me out but I wish I’d come here first to see what others have said! I even offered in my 2nd email to pay the original ticket cost but they won’t respond other than that 1 email saying take up with the collections agency! Seen as their getting complaints all about the same car park, Perhaps the company should do some recon on the car park they chose to represent and put up barriers so it splits the car parks. Livingston designer malls trustpilot is also flooded with the same issue so it’s clearly not clear enough to the public!
