I cannot recommend this service for hand or foot scans due to poor equipment quality. The probe used was of low frequency, which is not suitable for superficial examinations. I sought a written report for my GP to assist with my concerns about arthritis, trusting this center based on their assurances. As someone in medical imaging, I was disappointed with the initial scan and requested a refund, which I received for the hand I chose not to scan, but I still paid for the first one. Despite informing them of my concerns, I was told that a scan for arthritis was unnecessary, despite prior confirmation from the receptionist that it could be done. Although I was refunded for the second hand scan, I lost my deposit and the cost of the ineffective scan. When I inquired about better equipment, I was met with dismissive responses. The false reassurances given during the scan could mislead someone without medical knowledge into thinking everything was fine, which was not the case for me. The suggestions made for further imaging were vague, and the report provided was not interpretable by my GP. Overall, this experience was unhelpful, stressful, and a waste of time. I would suggest looking into alternative providers who are better equipped, even if they are pricier.
