Terrible experience with Umrahme, especially their refund handling and customer service.
I have been chasing a refund for almost a month, and the responses have been completely inconsistent and unreliable. First I was told 3 to 4 days, then 5 to 7 days, then 7 to 10 days. Now I am being told it could take months, with no clear explanation or accountability.
They claim the refund was “processed” on March 25, but cannot provide any proof, transaction reference, or even basic details like the method used. When asked for evidence, they simply say there is none and that I should wait for the bank. This is unacceptable for any financial transaction.
Customer support is extremely frustrating, repetitive scripted replies, no ownership, chats being closed prematurely, and zero transparency. The explanations keep changing from holidays to delays to even a “war situation,” none of which justify the lack of clarity or documentation.
At this point, it genuinely feels like you are being strung along rather than helped.
Very disappointing. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, think twice before using this service.
