I initially looked into Unimeal last year but never proceeded with a subscription. The last communication I received from them was on 4 July 2025, outlining pricing for a first month. I did not move forward, was never actively using any meal plan, and no money was ever taken from my account after that.
Out of nowhere, I woke up on a Sunday morning to find $46 deducted from my account without any recent notification, reminder, or active engagement from me. I have not received services, meal plans, or any ongoing support that would justify this charge.
I have now contacted them requesting a full refund and immediate cancellation. Taking money without clear ongoing consent or recent communication is unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to be very cautious and carefully review any subscription terms before entering payment details.
