Worst experience ever.August 2022 I travelled to Australia from London using United airlines, going through USA. One of my connecting flight was cancelled. I was stuck in Houston Texas with no food for over 32 hours until my new flight the following day was made. I had to pay for a new VISA due to me transiting though New Zealand which wasn't part of my initial journey (I was never reimbursed for this payment). They had sent my luggage to LA without notifying me, and I couldn't file for it as lost until I arrived in Sydney.Both the Airline and coverwise provided no help. I received no help, no compensation, or any reimbursement for the cost I incurred from this Flight cancellation. I am only 23 years old and this was my first extremely long haul flight experience, where I was alone, and received no help, only the check in staff at Air New Zealand offered me as much help as they could.I will never be flying with United again.
