This website is a total scam. Posting this so others can learn from my mistake. :(I don’t normally get fooled by imposter sites, but it was late at night, I was in a rush, and this was the first result when I Googled “passport renewal.” The site gave me no reason to suspect it was anything other than the official U.S. State Department website.I realized the mistake within less than an hour and immediately contacted them to cancel. During the initial chat, I was told, “We’re happy to process a cancellation for you if that’s your decision.” I replied by email, “Yes, please proceed with the cancellation.” Despite that, customer service moved forward with submitting my information anyway and refused to issue a refund.This process requires providing extremely sensitive personal information to a private company I did not knowingly intend to use, which is really upsetting.I’m disputing the charge through my credit card, but I wanted to leave this here as a warning. Please double-check that you’re using the official site (travel.state.gov). I knew better, and it still happened to me.
