I would not recommend staying at a unite students accommodation in Birmingham especially Lakeside. Countless stealing going on in the flat including an air fryer and I was told ‘there’s nothing we can do’ even though it’s suspected someone else is coming into the flat which is a huge safety issue. Messy kitchens to the point there’s rotting food and flies even tho I reported the cleanliness months ago and no message got passed on. Staff always give promises they can not keep. A member of staff even told me recently that I need to have patience as they sometimes forget when my point was that they forgot all the time when i’ve asked for help. She continues to go onto saying that I should have waited around for them to send the email like i’m paying 7/8 grand to teach the staff how to do their jobs.Also rats and the customer service is awful, it’s definitely not worth your money.They can improve by more thorough staff training.
