Updoc is an online telehealth service for things like medical certificates and prescriptions. While the initial service worked okay (sometimes responded back in a few hours, other times I had to chase them up the next day), they later provided a promo code for a free follow-up consultation as incorrect detailing I requested wasn't on the medical certificate, but I was still charged $49.95 each time I used this promo.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with support, the issue was not fixed and I was not refunded. I ultimately had to go through my bank to recover the incorrectly charged amount.
Be cautious — billing errors and poor customer support made this a frustrating experience while I was unwell. Wouldn't recommend.
