My recent experience with UPS has been a complete disaster. Two consecutive shipments resulted in serious security and logistics failures.
The first package arrived clearly tampered with; the shipping bag was torn open and re-sealed with tape. Despite it being a "signature required" delivery, the courier simply dropped the opened package at my door and left. It felt like a deliberate attempt to avoid a face-to-face interaction where I would have obviously refused the delivery due to the damage.
I had to return that item, and the merchant was kind enough to send a replacement. The second attempt was even more surreal. After a notification claiming a "failed delivery attempt," the status was updated just a few hours later to: "All merchandise is 'missing' and the empty carton was discarded."
It is incredibly concerning that packages are consistently arriving torn or completely empty. Whether this is due to extreme negligence or "operational issues," UPS has proven to be an unreliable and insecure choice for shipping. I would strongly advise against using their services for anything that requires security and care.
