I hate getting parcels delivered through UPS. They never deliver on time, say they attempted delivery but no one ever rang the doorbell or tried calling my phone number. Every time I have to ring customer service and while the agents are helpful, each person gives a different answer to my queries. Some say the driver will call you or then ring your doorbell, some say they're unable to do either and you must just request redelivery through their website - for which you have to have an account with in order to get anything done and the online experience is so unfriendly for users.The drivers are not provided company phones and if they don't feel comfortable calling people off their personal phones (which I don't believe they should, they should have company phones from which they can reach clients), they don't call - which is the easiest way to deliver. If the driver sees there is an inability to deliver, even to have to ring a doorbell, they do not. They don't try other neighbours either. The parcel gets driven around Ireland for days. They don't leave delivery notices either to rearrange delivery.While the drivers are lovely, the service is abysmal. UPS is the worst delivery provider in Ireland. Every time I place and order and see the delivery carrier is UPS, I just know it's going to be a stressful hassle.
