I don’t know where to start with the impossible interaction I just had with ups. I’ve had bad transitions with some companies but UPS are not only awful, they’re downright useless. They need to be out of business. They collected 6 pieces of items containing wine glasses in crates of 20s, 4 stacks each, for shipping to London. First, they missed the delivery deadline. Then, they gave me a customs duty charge for the entire shipment but only delivered 4 out of the 6. The pickup driver showed up at my location, just after I received the delivery notification, returning one of the items (meant to be 4 stack of 20 wine glasses but missing a crate of 20), saying that they were not included in the shipment due to some damage. So, I am missing 5 crates of 20 wine glasses each (a total of 100 glasses). Ive been on the phone checking and tracking my shipment this whole time and not a single word from them about the changes in my shipment or even any refund for the items not included in the delivery. I must confess that when I saw the reviews citing the extraordinarily bad experiences others have also had with them, I realised that there is a fundamental problem with ups. I just hope they go out of business, so no one else falls into their trap. I am now joining the countless others who will not make a punchier do business with any company that uses UPS delivery services.
