I have been using Square for 1 year today (thanks for the email) for my tiny Soapery business. So easy to use! I absolutely love it! Thank you for making something small business owners can use to get their tiny hobby started and make it into a tiny business and hope to grow into a small business!
I am writing my review of Square on recent communications regarding my new account, and I must express my apprehension regarding the negative experience I have encountered since opening my account with Square. Despite having an account for only one week, I have encountered significant challenges and frustrations.**Transaction Processing**: My account has processed only one successful transaction, which took nearly a week to complete due to stipulations imposed by Square. Additionally, I had to cancel and refund another transaction because Square placed a hold on my account, citing issues that were initiated by their continuous red-flagging of my account.**Declined Transactions**: The significant number of declined transactions is directly attributed to the hurdles created by Square in getting my account operational. It is disheartening to repeatedly attempt to process a customer's credit card, only to discover that Square has flagged the transaction yet again. This not only reflects poorly on my business but also undermines the trust and credibility I strive to maintain with my customers.**Refunds**: I am surprised to learn that refunds were cited as a reason for auditing and placing a hold on my newly opened account. Contrary to the assertion in communication from Square demanding explanation to why my refunds have increased, I have issued only one refund of my 2 transactions processed. This decision was made in consultation with my customer, who preferred to wait until I resolved the payment processing issues rather than risking their card being blocked or facing pending transaction deductions.It is imperative for Square to understand that all the challenges and red flags impacting my account are a direct result of obstacles created by Square itself. Unfortunately its a shame to when such a large business lose customers because the are relying solely on artificial intelligence to run the company without human oversight which in most cases has led to unnecessary setbacks and financial losses for businesses like mine. The lack of urgency and attention to these critical issues reflects poorly on Square's professionalism and negatively impacts both my business and the reputation of Square.I urge Square to reconsider its approach and prioritize genuine customer support and partnership. My goal is to establish a mutually beneficial relationship, but the current circumstances are undermining this objective. I trust that this communication sheds light on the frustrations and challenges I am facing and encourages Square to take immediate corrective action to better the reputation that in building a unfortunate reputation.
I have been thrilled with Square. I have been using Square for a year to manage my inventory for my bookstore. I'm pleased with the features of the free version. I like how they offer free trials of their premium features. I recommend! Square has all the necessary to make a business a success.
