Square is holding up a real estate closing because they are holding our funds for job that cannot be completed without payment. I highly recommend not using square. My clients are about to lose their home and square is causing a huge inconvenience.
Same with the other reviews. DO NOT USE SQUARE.Had a pending transfer then suddenly they had to "reverify" my account and suspended transfer. They did this on a Friday right when I had to pay my vendors over the weekend. It is now Wednesday and no one has provided any feedback or any reply. I have provided all my verification documents and it's still pending for no reason. They have tossed me around customer service reps, account verification reps and no one has been helpful.Excuse after excuse after excuse. Just holding our own money without any care in the world.
the ease of setting up using the square system the convince accepting card payments at the markets or on the farm when people stop by to pick up fresh fruits and vegetables. Square has always processed payment and deposited the money timely. and there reports are emailed timely. This has allowed me to set up more than one market and use square at all locations now that my grandsons have gotten older.
I set up an account and had a question. I called customer support and while I had them on the phone I asked if the account was ok to use, the answer was yes. Then I had a payment come in a day or two later, and square said there was a problem with my account and I had to upload a bunch of verifying docs for their reveiw.The next day they deactivated my account and I cannot receive my money for 90 days. Who knows if they will really release it?In sum... They tell me the account is fine, I get a payment, then the account isn't fine, I'm deactivated and they have the money, and won't release it. That is a bunch of crap.What an lying low life cheatin scum bag way to treat people and do business. I can't say enough bad about them.My advice is to complain to the gov office that has jurisdiction over them. In the insurance world, if you have an insurance claim problem you cannot resolve with your carrier, you can complain to the state board of insurance, and if you have a legit point, they will contact the carrier and try to help get it resolved. Something similar is needed for square. I've read that my situation is not unique, it's actually common. We need to complain to the governing body. I'm trying to find out who that is.Rant over. thx.
There’s always an issue. Sometimes you can’t charge customers. Other times they request your signed invoices. Constantly requesting to check in or they will shut down receiving funds. Can’t run a business with this set up. I got Quickbooks merchant.
