I called U.S. Bank today about my small business credit card to see if there was any way to lower my interest rate. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have never missed a payment.
What I was told honestly shocked me.
The representative said the only way they could consider lowering my interest rate is if I become 30 days late on a payment. So basically, I’m being told to hurt my credit and be irresponsible just to get help?
On top of that, she suggested I go to National Debt Relief—so instead of helping a customer in good standing, I’m being pushed to a completely different company.
I was trying to do the responsible, proactive thing, and instead I left feeling like loyalty means nothing. Really disappointing experience. SSFCU deserves my money!
