Unfortunately, they get 1 star as I can’t leave less. Perhaps the 1 star is that even though it was a nightmare of an ordeal, at least Matt was pretty decent. So there is a star.

I was sold a defective car and I’m 99.9 percent certain that they knew full well it was never going to start as I was messed around for ages when I arrived and the car which was supposedly ready for me to view was MIA and the salesman was too apparently… I think they needed to boost the battery.

Anyway I did finally manage to reject the vehicle it was an absolute nightmare - I traded my perfectly working and well taken care of car in and got a scrap of a Land Rover - it was my dream car and I hunted for the perfect one - please note was being the main word here…

I signed for two keys and then was given one. Then was told that I hadn’t signed for two keys and that was reflective of the price, this was gas lighting at its best, as I have the evidence for the second key. I was told full service history, but then the landy specialist my car was recovered to told me the car was 4000miles overdue for its services. The car hadn’t been cleaned inside and the previous woman’s kiddies snack crumbs were all over the back seats (didn’t really notice while I was buying it as by the time I got to drive the car it was dark).

All in a nightmare. After sales team was really condescending (Matt was fine though and really was very sweet) but the rest of the team not so much.

It took me staying up all night to keep starting the engine so that the battery wouldn’t go flat, sending updated videos throughout the night and popping in on a very busy mechanic who could see I needed help, as well as hunting down the director of the business - in order to get approval of the rejection… so much for consumer rights hey?!

Long story short - go elsewhere unless you love an emotional rollercoaster.

For those in this same battle: Keep fighting for your refund and you will get it. Just really disappointed, even more so when I found out how many cars are being returned due to malfunctions and misrepresentation.
