I booked parking and hotel with Purple parking. Brought my car to the usual place. I was told that I had made a mistake, and that I had actually booked to take my car somewhere else, and that ‘when I drive to this other place, some other person would drive me back to where I was standing at that very moment’. I asked what the alternative was, and the guy said that I could pay an additional £105 and they would handle things from here. I asked how they could justify the amount, given that he claimed the ‘other place’ was only a 5 minute drive away. He shrugged his shoulders. I took my car up two more levels and left it in Short term parking. This is a dreadful way to behave to a 74 year old woman travelling alone. I asked the man what would he think is someone spoke to his mother like this. He wasn’t moved.
