My view of these rogue agents is that their ploy is to take some or all of the deposit for any excuse they see fit and any further argument will always be in their favour. They do not send full disclosure, obvious evidence requested by us rightly so in this case thus enabling the invented charge to be applied. Its damaged they state! Well I state its not!Vacations Marbella in my view stole 1500euros (all our deposit) for hand marks , print marks on the TV claiming its now a damaged TV but sending us no evidence of the cleaning process or a video of the cleaners switching the TV on! We watched this large TV every night including on the morning of our departure & acknowledge it all worked fine. We treated the villa like our home & actually never even moaned about the building works on the land behind us or the mass of ants in the wall cavities & settees.( reason being we did not want harmful sprays insecticides breathed in by children.) Cleaners who work for them (not an electrical engineer nor a suitable manager) sent them photos on the day we vacated ...but the Team have only just told us 14 days later of the impending bad news!!As they wrote.... " we left a damaged TV and therefore not returning any deposit" The Team sent us photos off hand marks & sticky marks before the TV was cleaned & clearly stated it was damaged.I politely asked for evidence in the form of a video of the cleaning process that was performed and asked for a video also of switching on/off the appliance to show it was damaged? I was told by the TEAM that its final my deposit is not being refunded & they will not send my requested video as currently clients are renting the premises.( How unprofessional to think its justifiable to keep 1500 with no evidence of cleaning attempted)Please read this with open mouths & trust me you must be prepared to lose your deposit if they fancy a quick buck & with TV`s its easy if you do not supply evidence of the cleaning process or by not videoing the appliance in a damaged state ? They should not be telling renters 14 days after vacating the premises that the said TV is damaged! The reason for no video evidence of the damaged TV is because it was not damaged , it was hand prints and other plastic sticky items that marked the screen.The reason for delay in evidence is so that excuses of no video is possible as we are too busy and can`t be bothered or the place is rented??We will not give up obtaining our refund for an undamaged TV & are applying for card intervention using a Section 75. Conclusion is we are extremely unhappy dealing with such a lowlife team of swindlers that in my view totally ruined my wife's 60th birthday week away.
